FAME® ACP are flat sheets that consist of a Polyethylene core bonded between two sheets of Aluminium Foil with a polyester surface treatment suitable for digital and screen printing. ACP is very rigid, strong and lightweight. The Aluminium foils can be produced in a wide range of painted finishes and colours as well as Metallic and Brushed. The decorated surface can be coated in a FEVE Gloss finish for external applications and a Gloss or Matt Polyester finish for internal use. ACP is ideally suited for signage and printing applications.
ACP is stocked in large combination of sheets sizes, gauges and colours to meet the needs of this diverse industry.
Aluminum composite panel (ACP) is made of aluminum alloy and plastic material provided with wide range of sizes, shapes, colors, and styles to offer broader options for construction design, in a bid to better meet the requirements of contemporary construction on lightweight, elegant decoration and high hardness.
The FAME® sign material is made of both the aluminum and plastic sign material. Two factory-painted sheets of aluminum are permanently bonded to both sides of a high density plastic core, sandwiching the plastic sign panel in between.
The solid plastic core adds body, thickness and rigidity to the sheet. In fact, Dibond metal signs have 10 times more strength than a sheet of .040" aluminum making it the 4th strongest sign panel (ARMOUR-Wood metal signs are #1 in panel strength), yet the material is still lightweight at only 32 pounds for an entire 4' x 8' sheet.
